Accessibility Statement
This site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Here is what that means in practice.

Commitment
Women use this website while exhausted, on small screens, in waiting rooms, and late at night. Accessibility is treated as a functional requirement, not an add-on. The target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What has been implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy on every page
- A skip-to-content link at the start of each page
- Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA thresholds for body and interface text
- Text that reflows and remains readable at 200 per cent zoom, and on screens from 320 px wide
- Form fields with persistent visible labels rather than placeholder-only labelling, and required fields marked in text
- Descriptive link text rather than undifferentiated “click here” links
- Motion and reveal effects disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion
- No automatically playing audio or video, and no content that flashes
- Content that does not depend on colour alone to convey meaning
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content, such as video players, is not fully under this site’s control and may not meet the same standard. Where such content is used, an alternative is provided on request.
