How your personal and health information is collected, used, stored and protected.

Who we are
Fertilogy™ is a boutique fertility advisory practice founded and operated by Jane Ogidigo, based in Lagos, Nigeria, serving clients in Nigeria and internationally. Fertilogy™ is the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect
- Enquiry information: name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, age, current fertility stage, programme of interest, and the free-text information you choose to provide about your fertility journey and concerns.
- Community and waitlist information: name, email address, country and fertility stage.
- Client records: where you become a client, the medical records, results and documents you choose to send for review.
- Technical information: basic analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type and referring source.
Health information
Information about your fertility journey is sensitive personal data. It is collected only because you choose to provide it, used only to prepare and deliver advisory work for you, stored securely, and never sold, rented or shared for marketing. It is not shared with any clinic, laboratory or third party without your written instruction.

The lawful bases relied on are your consent, the performance of a contract with you, and legitimate interests in operating the practice.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are retained for up to twenty-four months. Client records are retained for up to seven years to allow continuity of advisory work and to meet accounting obligations. Circle and waitlist details are retained until you unsubscribe.
Who has access
Access is limited to Jane Ogidigo and, where strictly necessary, to service providers acting under contract — website hosting, form processing, email delivery, video conferencing and secure file storage. These providers process data on our instructions only.
International transfers
Because clients are served across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and elsewhere, information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where this occurs, providers are selected on the basis of appropriate security and contractual safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access to the information held about you, ask for correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict processing, request a copy of your data in portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. Requests are answered within thirty days. Where you are covered by the Nigeria Data Protection Act, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or comparable legislation, those rights apply in full.
Sharing your information with a healthcare provider
Fertilogy™ does not share your personal or health information with any clinic, specialist or other healthcare provider except where you specifically ask for that to happen, and then only on your separate written consent naming the provider concerned. The enquiry consent you give on this website does not authorise disclosure to a third-party provider; a distinct consent is taken at the point of any such transfer.
Where you do consent, only the information relevant to that consultation is shared, it is sent through a secure channel, and you receive a copy of what was sent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, though it cannot undo a disclosure already made. Providers who receive your information become independent controllers of it under their own obligations, and their handling of it is governed by their own policies rather than by this one.
Fertilogy™ receives no payment, commission or other consideration from any provider in connection with your information or your care, and no information is ever shared for marketing purposes.
Security
Information is held on access-controlled, password-protected systems, transmitted over encrypted connections, and shared only through secure channels. No system is perfectly secure, and you should not send medical records over unsecured channels; a secure method is provided to every client.
Children
This website and these services are not directed at anyone under eighteen, and information is not knowingly collected from minors.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be notified to Circle members by email.
