Frequently asked questions
Everything worth asking before you enquire.
If your question is not answered here, send it through the enquiry form and it will be answered personally.
Can Fertilogy help me find a fertility specialist?
Yes. Where your case calls for it, Fertilogy can help you understand which type of specialist your situation points to — a reproductive endocrinologist, a reproductive surgeon, a male-factor specialist, or a fertility centre — and identify suitable providers within its private clinical network in Nigeria.
Can Fertilogy help me find an IVF clinic?
Yes, through Fertilogy Fertility Care Navigation. Suitable treatment providers in Nigeria are identified against a written brief built from your own records and history, rather than from a general list. You are always given more than one option.
Does Fertilogy choose my doctor or clinic for me?
No. Fertilogy identifies options and prepares you to assess them. Choosing your healthcare provider remains your decision, and you are free to choose any provider you wish, inside the network or outside it.
Is there a list of the clinics Fertilogy works with?
No, and that is deliberate. The clinical network is private and is not published as a directory, a ranking or a set of profiles. A published list becomes a marketing asset for whoever appears on it and invites you to choose from a page rather than from your own case. Options are identified per client, against a written brief.
Will my records be sent to a clinic?
Only if you ask, and only with your written consent naming the provider. Nothing is shared without it, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. How your information is handled is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.
Who are these services for?
Women and couples preparing for IVF — whether it is a first cycle, a repeat cycle after an unsuccessful one, or a decision about donor gametes, a change of clinic, or treatment abroad. Clients are typically African women in Nigeria and across the diaspora in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada, though the practice works with anyone who wants structured preparation before investing in treatment.
Do you diagnose infertility?
No. Fertilogy™ does not diagnose, prescribe, or alter any treatment. Diagnosis is the work of your fertility specialist. What happens here is different: your existing results and history are explained to you in plain language, structured into a written roadmap, and turned into the specific questions worth taking back to your clinician.
Do you replace my fertility specialist?
Never. Fertilogy™ is designed to complement medical care, not substitute for it. Clients consistently report that their consultations become more productive because they arrive prepared, informed, and clear about what they are asking for.
Do you review fertility reports?
Yes. Hormone panels, semen analyses, imaging summaries, cycle records, embryology reports and clinic protocols are read in full before your session. You are not asked to interpret them yourself, and you do not need a complete set — bring what you have.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. Sessions are held online and scheduled across time zones. Fertilogy Fertility Care Navigation exists specifically for clients coordinating care between two countries — for example, living in London or Houston while treating in Lagos, or travelling abroad for a cycle.
Can you guarantee pregnancy?
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. No advisory service, and no clinic, can promise a live birth. What is promised here is preparation: that you will enter your next cycle better informed, better organised, and able to make decisions with your medical team rather than around them.
How do your programmes work?
Every client begins with the Fertilogy Clarity Session. You submit an enquiry, complete a structured intake, and send whatever records you hold. Your history is reviewed in full before the session. Afterwards you receive a written personalised roadmap. From there you choose whether to continue into the Fertilogy IVF Preparation, the Fertilogy Treatment Navigation & Support, or Fertilogy Fertility Care Navigation — or to take your roadmap and proceed on your own.
Are fees published on this website?
No. Programme fees are discussed directly, after an enquiry, once it is clear which pathway genuinely fits your situation. Recommending the wrong programme helps no one, so the conversation comes before the figure.
How soon can I be seen?
Enquiries are answered within two working days. Availability is deliberately limited because every case is read in full beforehand. If your cycle begins imminently, say so in your enquiry and it will be prioritised.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Records and personal details are held confidentially, used only to prepare your advisory work, never sold, and never shared without your written instruction. Full detail is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Still deciding?
